About the Role

We’re looking for an Operations Manager to lead service delivery and drive customer satisfaction across multiple client sites in Nelspruit (Mpumalanga). This is a fast-paced, hands‑on role for someone who thrives on achieving operational excellence, building strong client partnerships, and leading high‑performing teams. You’ll play a pivotal role in managing people, performance, and profitability - ensuring service contracts run smoothly while continuously improving quality, compliance, and results. (Valid License and own vehicle compulsory)

What you’ll be doing
  • Lead and supervise all daily contract operations with focus on client satisfaction
  • Build and manage strong supplier and client relationships
  • Oversee new site launches, transitions, and contract handovers
  • Monitor delivery of SLAs, cost management, and service quality
  • Ensure prompt resolution of issues and proactive client engagement
  • Manage operational budgets, wage control, and resource planning
  • Conduct regular audits and risk reviews to meet H&S compliance
  • Perform leadership duties such as staff reviews, performance discussions, and team development
  • Collaborate with management on strategic planning and reporting
  • Identify growth opportunities through upselling and relationship development
What you’ll need
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in operations or facilities management (preferably in cleaning or hospitality support services)
  • Strong leadership, resource planning, and client‑facing capabilities
  • Solid understanding of budgeting, contracts, SLAs, and cost controls
  • In‑depth knowledge of South African H&S legislation and compliance
  • Ability to develop teams, manage performance, and promote accountability
  • Experience in forecasting, reporting, and delivering business KPIs
  • A proactive, reliable, and solutions‑driven approach
  • Relevant management qualification (advantageous)
  • Valid driver's license and own vehicle.
  • Clear Criminal Record
  • Gr12 (National Certificate) Pass.
