Operations Manager (Hospitality) required in Franschhoek.

Our client , a regenerative farm in Franshoek is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Operations Manager to oversee daily operations and hold connection between their teams.

This role sits at the heart of the sanctuary—responsible for the seamless functioning of hospitality operations and ensuring all departments align with their values, rhythms, and guest journey.

Reporting directly to the Founders and CEO, you will serve as the central operational lead, balancing structure and flow—ensuring precision and efficiency while nurturing a living, relational system.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations across all departments, including housekeeping, guest services, food & beverage, wellness, and programming
  • Coordinate team flow, prioritize tasks, and ensure smooth guest experiences
  • Implement and refine operational systems, SOPs, and checklists for consistency and accountability
  • Manage scheduling, budgets, inventory, and quality control
  • Guide team leads toward operational excellence
  • Translate leadership vision into actionable, day‑to‑day practices
  • Bridge communication and collaboration across teams
  • Maintain the integrity and harmony of the environment and guest experience

Requirements:

  • 5+ years’ leadership experience in luxury hospitality, wellness, retreats, or purpose-driven environments
  • Skilled in building systems and frameworks that support smooth, people-centered operations
  • Emotionally intelligent communicator with cross-functional leadership experience
  • Calm, grounded, and solution-oriented under pressure
  • Tech-savvy, hands-on, and humble team player
