Overview
Lead the GrA Energy & Transportation (E&T) operations, overseeing prime and aftermarket sales across the region. Ensure alignment with the Centre of Excellence (COE) strategy, drive financial performance, and maintain strong coordination between in-country teams and South Africa-based Line of Business (LOB) leaders.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage prime (including rental), aftermarket, and service operations across Greater Africa.
- Collaborate with LOB leaders to implement regional E&T strategies.
- Drive revenue growth, profitability, and market share improvement.
- Champion technology adoption and roll out of digital solutions in partnership with the Aftermarket Enabling team.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Develop and upskill regional teams.
- Achieve business plan targets and ensure compliance with corporate governance and ethics.
- Weekly cadence with regional teams.
- Performance delivery across Prime, Aftermarket, and Service.
- Achievement of regional financial and operational targets.
- Strong stakeholder relationships (customers, internal teams, etc).
- Accurate forecasting of revenue across LOBs.
- Promotion of a safe, sustainable, and high-performance culture.
Qualification, Experience And Competencies
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering/finance or business management.
- Post Graduate qualification, e.g. MBA will be an added advantage.
- 5 to 10 years’ experience in a Sales/Commercial operations role.
- 5 years’ experience in a similar position i.e. centre of excellence.
- 5 years in associated industries (Mining / Construction).
