About the Opportunity

Lead with Impact: Operations Manager position available seeking individuals that are well‑versed in project management in the electrical / construction sector!

Is this you

You are a seasoned operations professional with a knack for leadership communication problem‑solving and analytical skills. You are up to date with industry regulations and current trends in the electrical contracting sector. You have experience in operational and project planning pricing tenders ensuring SHEQ and ISO compliance proficiency with MS Project familiarity with electrical materials construction and best practices as well as knowledge of SANS 10142 standards.

What You’ll Be Doing

As the Operations Manager you’ll spearhead technical operations ensuring projects are executed on time and within budget. You will be responsible for efficient project planning and execution, leading and managing a team, coordinating project execution, evaluating new technologies, and conducting quality control checks. With your strong leadership and technical expertise you’ll guide project teams, provide technical support and resolve complex issues while maintaining high‑quality standards and compliance with health and safety regulations. You will build and maintain relationships with clients, contractors and other stakeholders as well as monitoring project budgets and financial performance.

You will be required to visit sites frequently within the Western Cape.

What You’ll Need

To excel in this role you need a BTech/BEng/ND in Electrical Engineering coupled with at least 10 years of proven experience in operations and project management within the electrical or construction industry. Your expertise in operational and project planning pricing tenders, SHEQ compliance and contract management will be essential. Additionally, your strong leadership, communication and organizational skills coupled with your proficiency in MS Project and other relevant software will set you apart.
