Join a manufacturing team as an Operations Manager in Gauteng! In this role, you will lead and manage daily operations; drive continuous improvement initiatives; analyse operational data to support cost-effective decision-making; implement lean manufacturing practices; provide inputs and justifications for CAPEX and OPEX budgets; ensure SHEQ compliance; manage workforce performance; supervise preventative and corrective maintenance; drive cost control; and lead strategic projects. To succeed in this role, you should have at least 5 years of experience in a senior operations role within a manufacturing environment. You should possess an understanding of technical, operational and commercial factors. A tertiary engineering qualification (Bachelors degree in Chemical / Metallurgical / Mechanical / Electrical) is required. Strong leadership, problem-solving, business acumen, and teamwork skills will also be valuable. A solid understanding of manufacturing processes and production planning is needed.
