Job summary

Fidelity Services Group seeks a Branch CIT Supervisor at Kokstad to ensure efficient cash in transit operations. You will manage staff, maintain client relations, and oversee vehicle security and daily admin to meet contractual requirements.

Requirements include PSIRA Grade C, CIT certificate, firearm competency, and 5+ years’ CIT experience. Willingness to work irregular hours and HR/IR knowledge are advantageous.

Qualifications

• PSIRA accreditation and Grade C qualification are required.
• CIT certificate is required.
• Firearm competency with handgun qualification.
• Computer literacy is compulsory.
• 5+ years in CIT or similar role preferred.
• CIT management/supervisory experience is advantageous.
• Knowledge of HR/IR and ISO9001:2015 requirements.
• Familiarity with Transtrack.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all operational issues for the branch's client base via daily instruction and follow-up with staff.
• Ensure all clients are serviced per contractual requirements.
• Maintain good relations between the Branch and clients regarding services rendered.
• Manage staff and client retention.
• Conduct risk management and daily operational admin.
• Take full responsibility for vehicle maintenance, refuelling, and security systems usage.
• Liaise with management and staff; handle HR/IR related issues.
• Perform Transtrack duties and manage CIT schedules during transit.
• Ensure security and safe movement of CIT operations.

Reporting to the Branch Manager

The above position is vacant at our Kokstad Branch. The overall purpose of this position is to ensure that Cash in Transit (CIT) operations are efficiently managed.

Minimum Requirements

• Clear Criminal record
• PSIRA accredited with a minimum Grade C qualification
• Cash In Transit (CIT) certificate
• Firearm competency - with a minimum handgun (for business purposes) qualification
• Computer literate (compulsory)
• At least 5 years' experience in the Cash in Transit industry or similar role (Advantageous at FSG)
• CIT management/ supervisory experience is advantageous
• Knowledge of HR/ IR
• Knowledge of ISO9001:2015 quality management and its requirements
• Knowledge of Transtrack
• Strong planning, leadership, organisational and interpersonal skills
• Valid driver's license and own transport
• Able to work under pressure
• Prepared to work irregular hours
• Clear disciplinary record

Key Performance Areas (not totally inclusive)

• Responsible for all operational issues to the entire client base of his/her branch - through daily communication/ instruction giving and follow up with employees
• Ensure all clients are serviced as per contractual requirements
• Maintain good relations between the Branch and the client regarding services rendered
• Manage staff and client retention

• Ensure all administrative responsibilities relating to daily operational requirements are complete
• Take full responsibility and accountability for the vehicle i.e. report mechanical faults, refuelling, operating the various security systems, ensure cleanliness of the vehicle, etc.
• Accident prevention and reporting
• Take preventative actions towards any suspicious activity
• Liaise with management and all staff
• Personnel Management - deal with HR/ IR related issues
• Overall Transtrack duties
• Ensure security and manage movement of CIT schedules during transit
