This is a key role for someone who can work independently, make sound operational decisions and ensure that all activities run efficiently.

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the fruit cold storage facility, ensuring efficient and effective running of all activities.

• Manage operational processes, resources and staff to maintain productivity and service delivery.

• Ensure appropriate storage conditions and handling procedures are maintained to protect fruit quality.

• Monitor operational performance, identify challenges and implement practical solutions.

• Coordinate workflows to ensure operational requirements and deadlines are met.

• Maintain compliance with relevant operational procedures, quality standards and safety requirements.
