ABOUT THE ROLE

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead, guide, and energize operational teams to hit performance and turnaround targets.
• Oversee and coordinate daily logistics processes across multiple sites.
• Troubleshoot operational bottlenecks and implement smart, effective solutions.
• Communicate clearly with clients, teams, and management to ensure seamless execution.
• Maintain high standards of compliance, accuracy, and service delivery.
• Work flexibly and commit to overtime when required, as operations often demand extended hours in peak periods.
• Travel between sites as needed to provide support, oversight, and operational alignment.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 35 years experience in an operational or team‑leader role within the logistics or supply chain sector.
• Proven ability to lead in a high‑pressure, fast‑paced environment.
• Strong communication, people‑management, and problem‑solving skills.
• Must be comfortable working extended hours and responding to operational demands.
• Own reliable vehicle and valid driver’s licence essential (this role requires regular site travel).
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain composure during pressure spikes.
• Tech‑savvy with experience in operational systems and reporting tools.
