Job summary

Amazon University Talent Acquisition Team is seeking ambitious students for an Operations Internship in Amazon Operations. You’ll work 40 hours per week for 12 months in Cape Town or Johannesburg, learning how managers engage teams to meet customer expectations in Fulfillment, Sortation Centers and Delivery Stations.

You’ll analyze data, map processes, test solutions, and collaborate with managers, tech teams and associates to tackle complex operational challenges.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree with a graduation date of Q1 2027 or a recent 2026 graduate (within the last 6 months).
• Fluent written and verbal communication in English.
• Available to complete a full time 12 month internship (40h/week).

Responsibilities

• Dive into data, map processes and problems to improve operations.
• Offer and test potential solutions and implement the best one(s).
• Collaborate with managers, tech teams and frontline Associates to solve challenges.
