What are we looking for?

We are seeking for Operations Assistant to handle a variety of tasks to support the manufacturing and production processes.

What do we expect from the candidate?

Ability to safely operate forklifts, handle warehouse tasks, and support production operations.
Strong discipline, reliability, and commitment to following all safety and quality procedures.
Willingness to work hands‑on, maintain high housekeeping standards, and assist with stock, waste, and effluent processes.

The key responsibilities:

• Operate forklift equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform ad hoc deliveries and collections using a company vehicle.
• Picking and preparation of customer orders.
• Offloading and loading of finished products.
• Maintain general housekeeping standards within the warehouse.
• Conduct daily stock counts.
• Handle waste according to company procedures.
• Assist with effluent treatment and handling.
• Ensure correct PPE is worn at all times as specified in product batch sheets and the Rolfes Agri Integrated Management System (RAIMS).
• Maintain discipline, follow instructions, and ensure accurate timekeeping.
• Adhere strictly to all company procedures, including Safety, Manufacturing, Site, and Quality Control regulations.
• Report all safety incidents, accidents, near misses, or abnormal observations immediately to the Warehouse Manager (or as soon as reasonably possible).

Must-Have:

• Grade 12 (Matric).
• 4 – 6 months working experience within the chemical industry.
• Good understanding of Microsoft Office.
• Forklift Licence.
• Drivers Licence.
• Must be physically fit and able to perform manual tasks.
