Qualifications

  • Financial Services experience gained in an investment company is mandatory.

  • Implement model portfolio changes instructed by the Investment Team.
  • Build strong working relationships with model portfolio teams at service providers.
  • Weekly AUM Reporting and Quarterly Client Reporting.

Our client is a successful and reputable Investments Boutique business based in Cape Town. Due to the dynamic growth of the organisation they now have a need to build out their operations team with a new Operations Analyst role.

OVERVIEW

The Operations Analyst role is a diverse role suited to an organized and process driven candidate who has an interest in the investments industry. The role focusses on model portfolio implementation, client service support as well as building strong working relationships with clients and service providers. Our business covers local and offshore investing, presenting a great opportunity to develop expertise across a wide array of areas.

Key Features of the Role
1. Model Portfolio Administration
  • Administration and maintenance of local and offshore model portfolios
  • Assist clients on model portfolio related queries and provide support
  • Implement model portfolio changes instructed by the Investment Team
  • Implement model portfolio management requests instructed by the Client Service Team
  • Institutional client support
  • Bespoke client support
2. Relationship Building
  • Build strong working relationships with model portfolio teams at service providers
  • Build good working relationships with operations team at various model client practices
  • Maintain good relationships with clients
3. Reporting
  • Weekly AUM Reporting
  • Quarterly Client Reporting
  • Bespoke client reporting on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
  • Monthly model factsheet checking
  • Regular client fee calculations and support to Finance

Qualifications
