Job description

Namlog Job Opportunity Namlog seeks an experienced individual for our Cape Town branch.

The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving all consignment documentation, capturing all required consignment and waybill information on the LMS with precision and accuracy, verifying all information captured, processing all consignment documentation to the Clearing Department, and being accountable for all collections and queries.

Duties & Responsibilities

Receive and capture documents on the LMS system.

Identify missing data and errors and follow up with Account Executive and / or Branches on missing information or errors.

Verify all parcel's mass and dimensions booked through collections for the specific consignment ensuring parcels' mass and dimensions are captured correctly and information entered with source documents and make necessary corrections to information entered.

Assist with batching of documents for borders.

Scan and email documents to various internal and external customers.

Communicate with the team regarding outstanding documents.

Ensure overall accuracy of waybills being captured.

Ensure no parcel is left unverified.

Capture all administrative data as received.

Assist with resolving queries from Branches and Account Executives.

Contribute to the successful operation of the Induction Dept, in terms of quality of work and productivity.

Capture and process all documentation pertaining to the Isuzu contract.

Batch and dispatch Isuzu documentation daily to Namlog Head Office, Brentwood Park.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Grade 12 certificate or equivalent.

Logistics and Supply Chain Management or Transport Management related qualification.

Minimum of 4 years' experience in the transport industry, with a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.

Knowledge of LMS, MS Word / Excel.

Strong interpersonal skills.

Ability to build good working relationships.

Possess well-developed communication skills.

Be methodical and well organized with an analytical and enquiring mind.

Have the ability to work accurately and under pressure.
