S-Cubed is seeking an Operational Manager Nursing (Specialty: Paediatric Emergency) in the Western Cape. The role leads planning, management and coordination of an advanced paediatric nursing service and requires collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care.

The candidate must hold a basic nursing qualification with SANC registration and a post-basic or extended qualification in paediatric critical care.

Remuneration

Basic R425 qualification (i.e. diploma/degree in nursing) or equivalent qualification (R683) that allows registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional Nurse. A post-basic nursing qualification, with duration of at least 1 year accredited with the SANC in Medical and Surgical Nursing Science: Critical Care Nursing: Child Nursing (R212). OR A 4-year bachelor’s degree in nursing (R174) or equivalent qualification (R171 plus R1497) that allows registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional Nurse. A Post Graduate Diploma (R635) accredited with the SANC in Critical Care Nursing (Child).

Experience

A minimum of 9 years appropriate/recognisable experience in Nursing after registration as a Professional Nurse with SANC in General Nursing. At least 5 years of the period referred to above must be appropriate/recognizable experience after obtaining the one-year post-basic qualification or post-graduate diploma in the relevant specialty.
