Job summary

A healthcare provider is seeking an Emergency Medical Care professional to attend to emergency calls and provide intermediate medical care. The position requires an Ambulance Emergency Assistant Certificate and at least 1 year of EMS experience. Successful candidates will work on-site and are expected to maintain a high standard of patient care in compliance with HPCSA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Ambulance Emergency Assistant Certificate or equivalent required.
• 1 year EMS experience is essential.
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

REQUIRED EDUCATION

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION : Ambulance Emergency Assistant Certificate or Higher certificate in Emergency Medical Care

DESIRED EDUCATION : Successful completion of training related to Clinical Practice Guidelines published by the Health Professions Council of South Africa will be advantageous. If not compliant with the clinical practice guidelines at the time of application you will be required to complete this training during your probation period if successful in your application

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE : 1 year EMS experience

DESIRED EXPERIENCE : 1 year ILS experience
