PRR Recruitment Services is looking for a detail-oriented Operational Accountant in Germiston, South Africa. This permanent, office-based position involves overseeing Accounts Payable, preparing VAT returns, and maintaining financial records. The ideal candidate should have a completed Accounting Degree and at least 3 years' experience in a similar role, with retail experience considered advantageous. We are seeking a detail‑oriented Operational Accountant to support financial operations through accurate reporting, strong controls, and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Accounts Payable and support Accounts Receivable
• Review financial transactions, VAT and reconciliations
• Prepare VAT returns and financial reports
• Maintain the Fixed Asset Register
• Identify discrepancies and ensure compliance with SARS, Tax and VAT requirements
• Assist with audits and stock takes

Requirements
