Placements24 is seeking a skilled Construction Foreman to lead on-site teams in the Klerksdorp area. You will supervise laborers and trades, coordinate daily activities and ensure work aligns with plans and schedules.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on leadership, deep knowledge of construction methods, and a strong commitment to safety, quality, and productivity on site. You will report to the Site Manager and have access to training and career advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Construction Foreman or similar leadership role.
• Thorough knowledge of construction methods, tools, and equipment.
• Strong understanding of safety best practices and regulations in construction.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor and work in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct the work of construction crews, ensuring tasks are completed according to plans.
• Implement and enforce all safety regulations and procedures on the job site.
• Coordinate daily work activities, including material handling, equipment operation, and task assignments.
• Monitor the quality of workmanship and ensure it meets project specifications and industry standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized job site, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
• Report progress, issues, and any safety concerns to the Site Manager or Project Manager promptly.
