About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Online Mathematics Tutor to provide advanced-level instruction and support to students remotely. You will leverage digital platforms to deliver engaging one-on-one and small group tutoring sessions, develop personalized learning plans, and provide detailed feedback. As a remote-first position, you will have the autonomy to manage your schedule and work from any location, connecting with students globally. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct engaging and effective online tutoring sessions for advanced mathematics topics (e.g., Calculus, Algebra, Statistics, Trigonometry) to high school and early college students.
• Assess students' understanding of mathematical concepts and identify areas where they need additional support.
• Develop personalized learning plans and tailored strategies to help students achieve their academic goals.
• Explain complex mathematical concepts in a clear, concise, and accessible manner.
• Provide constructive feedback on assignments, problem-solving approaches, and exam preparation.
• Utilize interactive whiteboards, screen sharing, and other online tools to enhance the tutoring experience.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress, session notes, and performance data.
• Communicate professionally and effectively with students, parents, and the administrative team.
• Stay updated on curriculum changes and best practices in online mathematics education.
• Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment that builds student confidence.

Requirements

• Master's degree or PhD in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, or a closely related field.
• A strong academic record with a deep understanding of advanced mathematics concepts.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in teaching or tutoring mathematics, preferably at the secondary or tertiary level.
• Proven experience delivering online instruction or tutoring using digital platforms.
