Job summary

Betway Global, part of Super Group, seeks a Regulatory Compliance Officer to navigate online gambling laws across multiple markets and apply them to day-to-day operations in Cape Town.

You will run the compliance monitoring programme, compile regulatory reports, manage relationships with third-party providers, and maintain an up-to-date risk register while advising the business on regulatory risk.

Qualifications

• Experience in a compliance-related or monitoring role within online gaming
• Solid understanding of remote and non-remote gambling regulations across jurisdictions
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proven ability to convey regulatory requirements clearly and effectively
• Experience managing multiple projects with on-time delivery

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain knowledge of online gambling legislation across multiple markets
• Execute compliance monitoring programme and maintain an accurate risk register
• Compile and submit compliance reports, information requests and notifications to regulators
• Represent the business at conferences and workshops
• Maintain and update regulatory policies and procedures within annual review cycles
• Manage internal and external audits, track findings and remediation actions
• Maintain relationships with third-party providers
• Act as escalation point for regulatory compliance matters
• Support senior regulatory staff in developing regulatory expertise
