Job description

The Role

• Delivering English lessons and guidance to students.
• Creating a fun and engaging classroom environment by facilitating one-on‑one or group instruction and utilizing world‑class teaching methods.
• Leading discussions, assessing student performance and providing constructive feedback.

Position Details

Start Date: Immediate upon completion of the recruitment process.
Teaching Hours: Guaranteed approximately 30 hours per week.
Students: Adult professionals over the age of 18, based throughout Europe, Asia, the Middle East and South America.
Remuneration: Set base rate of 6 USD per hour.
Contract type: Independent Service Provider contracted by The Really Great Teacher Company.
Location: Work from the convenience of your home.

Qualifications

• Accredited teaching hours or above TEFL, TESOL, CELTA.
• At least 6 months teaching or tutoring experience.

Technical Requirements

• Processor: Intel Core i5 CPU @2.0GHz (4 CPUs) or greater.
• Memory: 8GB RAM or greater.
• Backup power: Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) with a battery life up to 4–5 hours.
• VA (or willing to purchase before commencing teaching).
• Stable fibre internet connection at a minimum of 20 Mbps upload and download speeds.
• PC connected to LAN cable (not via Wi‑Fi).
• Noise‑canceling headset and HD webcam.
• Back‑up headset highly recommended.
• Tidy, well‑lit, and quiet teaching environment.
