Position Overview

The Ongoing Monitoring Team Lead is responsible for leading the Ongoing Monitoring team to ensure effective and efficient client service and to provide a knowledge base for AML/CFT matters.

Responsibilities
  • Recruit and retain productive staff who adapt well to the Sonata One culture.
  • Monitor and maximize the productivity of all Ongoing Monitoring staff.
  • Ensure that all Ongoing Monitoring staff are working within the specified processesli>
  • Interact with clients, lawyers, investors and administrators effectively and professionally.
  • Work with the Head of Operations to identify and support the productivity and training needs of colleagues and, occasionally, clients within agreed timescales.
  • Act as the central point of contact for all procedural questions relating to the Ongoing Monitoring service line.
  • Act as the central point of contact for all AML queries within the Ongoing Monitoring service line.
  • Maximize the use of technology in all Ongoing Monitoring processes to control risk and improve efficiency.
  • Understand the system design and how it is applied.
  • Suggest technology improvements in pursuit of efficiency.
  • Control daily Ongoing Monitoring work allocation in a transparent and efficient manner.
  • Measure and report Ongoing Monitoring staff performances using well considered indicators.
  • Act as central contact for review of high‑risk profiles and more complex senior reviews in the Ongoing Monitoring service line.
