Job summary

A multidisciplinary engineering company in South Africa seeks an experienced On-Site Project Coordinator to oversee and coordinate multiple site projects. Candidates should have at least 3 years of Project Management experience, preferably in an engineering context, and strong skills in stakeholder management and communication.   • Knowledge of Quality Assurance and SHE in an engineering consulting context.

  • Experience in risk, safety, and environmental auditing.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.

M-Tech Industrial is a multidisciplinary engineering company specialising in innovative energy systems, project execution, and industrial solutions. We are seeking an experienced On-Site Project Coordinator to join our Project Management Office.

Key Responsibilities

As an On-Site Project Coordinator, you will:

  • Oversee and coordinate multiple projects at client sites, ensuring on-time, within-budget delivery.
  • Supervise subcontractors and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Identify, evaluate, and mitigate project risks while implementing effective solutions.
  • Maintain consistent communication with all stakeholders and provide regular project updates.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, safety, health, environmental, and company requirements.
  • Manage material availability in collaboration with procurement and stores.
  • Build and maintain accurate safety files and documentation.
Minimum Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years’ Project Management experience.
  • B.Tech Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Trade qualification (advantageous).
  • Experience in an engineering/technical work environment (minimum 3 years).
  • Knowledge of Quality Assurance and SHE in an engineering consulting context.
  • Familiarity with MHSA, OHSA, COIDA, WCA, and Environmental Acts.
  • Experience in risk, safety, and environmental auditing.
  • Proficiency in MS Projects (or similar) and MS Office.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
