Job description
Introduction

Our client who is in the private sector is looking to employ an On‑Site Qualified Occupational Health Nurse.


The Occupational Health nurse is responsible for the internal entry, annual and exit medical assessments and the day‑to‑day medical assessment, treatment, and the referral of employees for further medical attention when needed and the completion of all documentation related to this role. Industry : FMCG


Duties & Responsibilities

Assess the medical condition of patients visiting the Clinic


Attend to the medical needs of the patient visiting the Clinic


Refer patients to the Doctor, clinic or hospital according to your professional medical opinion


Occupational Health risk assessments


Complete employee pre‑employment, periodic, exit and transfer medical examinations. Including Audiometry, spirometry and keystone


Dispense over the counter medication to patients


Manage dispensary stock


Conduct onsite health risk assessments


Complete clinic documentation : Employee clinical history


Clinic referral letters


Occupational medical questionnaire & assessment


Perform any other tasks given through by management


Desired Experience & Qualification

Qualified and registered Occupational Health Nurse


Minimum 2 years' experience in an occupational health environment


Valid dispensing licence


Certified in Audiometry, Spirometry, and Keystone Vision Testing


Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport
