Job summary

A global consumer goods company in South Africa is seeking a Supply Chain Finance Accountant to manage P&L and balance-sheet aspects and maintain strong accounting controls. This role requires experience in Supply Chain Finance and financial accounting. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical capabilities and the ability to drive financial insights that align with business targets. This is an office-based position requiring 100% on-site presence.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in Supply Chain or Factory Finance.
• Financial accounting qualification; progress toward CIMA or CA is advantageous.
• Strong analytical capabilities with a bias to drive action.
• Ability to manage and work under pressure, individually and collaboratively, to meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain strong accounting controls aligned with Unilever’s Global Financial Controls Framework.
• Manage P&L and balance-sheet aspects for the Lords View Factory.
• Deliver timely and accurate reporting requirements.
• Drive the control and governance agenda at production sites.
