Job summary

Essentially a permanent, on-site position with opportunities to participate in CPD and ongoing staff development within a supportive setting.

Qualifications

• Essential: Higher certificate in nursing.
• Desirable: CPD courses for specific speciality areas.
• Preference given to internal applicants per Equity Plan.

Responsibilities

• Deliver basic nursing care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
• Identify, prevent and report risks to ensure patient safety.
• Contribute to a positive patient experience by assisting in a therapeutic environment.
• Provide accurate and comprehensive records of all nursing interventions.
• Participate in creating a learning environment that builds staff competence.
• Ensure that all stock and equipment are accurately charted.
