Job summary

Mediclinic Potchefstroom is seeking an enrolled nurse to deliver safe, quality nursing care within the Scope of Practice, in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team. You will record nursing interventions accurately, help create a positive patient experience, and participate in ongoing learning to build staff competence.

Essential education: Enrolled Nurse Certificate; CPD focus for specialised wards is desirable. On-site, permanent position.

Qualifications

• Basic life support trained.
• Infection prevention and control.
• Pharmacology.
• Scientific nursing principles and process.
• Nursing processes and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality nursing care in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team.
• Identify, prevent and report risks to ensure patient safety.
• Facilitate a positive patient experience by creating a conducive environment.
• Provide accurate and comprehensive records of all nursing interventions.
• Participate in creating a learning environment that builds staff competence.
• Ensure that all utilised stock and equipment are accurately charged.
