Job summary

The role requires 7+ years in software/platform engineering, strong IaC and Kubernetes experience, and a passion for data-driven improvements in a dynamic financial services environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field and 7+ years of software/platform engineering experience.
• 3-5 years of infrastructure as code experience using Terraform, AWS CDK or CloudFormation.
• Solid experience with observability platforms (Datadog) and microservices architectures.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end platform performance and customer experience across development, test and production.
• Lead platform deployment design, tooling, and lifecycle management.

This is achieved by embracing system and design thinking to implement platforms leveraging software automation principles and data driven insights. You will work closely with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to ensure our systems are scalable, reliable, and performant under load.**KEY RESULT AREAS****Platform Engineer** • Take full accountability for end-to-end platform performance and resulting customer experience across development, test and production instances. • Build sustainable platforms that satisfy customer requirements and align with the broader technology objectives • Implement SLA, OLA & quality metrics, best practices, and patterns across the platform • Lead the resolution of platform service issues by directing efforts to restore service with minimal disruption to the customer and business • Resolve platform issues, including interdependent services outside the immediate area of responsibility;
