Responsibilities

• Manage the maintenance of the organisation's general ledger and accounting records.
• Accountable for the execution of the business plan, and for governance and compliance at an operational level.
• Generate financial information.
• Analyze and report on variances.
• Maintain a suitable financial control environment.
• Support the Finance Manager.
• Assist with the performance of all financial control activities, including capturing transactional data and performing reconciliations.
• Assist with Group reporting requirements.
• Assist with ad‑hoc tasks from time to time.
• Perform bank reconciliations.
• Manage the payments cycle to suppliers.
• Manage accounts payable and support business through the process.
• Engage with external & internal audit.
• Assist with subledger reconciliations.
• Prepare VAT returns.
• Prepare Income Tax reporting packs.
• Prepare financial statements.
