Job Description
SANBI is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly-motivated, dedicated, professional and responsible individual to provide administrative, logistical, financial, and professional services, including project and event-related services, to the office of the Chief Financial Officer.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage financial, budget, procurement, and compliance-related matters to support the Office of the Chief Financial Officer and Director SCM and Asset Management;
- Coordinate office-related projects and programs for the Office of the Chief Financial Officer;
- Provide logistical support and secretarial services to the Office of the Chief Financial Officer.
Qualifications And Requirements
- A degree in Office Management, Public Administration or equivalent qualification at NQF 7.
- Postgraduate qualification or equivalent qualification at NQF 8 will be an added advantage.
- 4 years of work experience in the relevant field.
- Extensive experience in managing the office of the senior executive.
- Understanding of the Public Finance Management Act requirements and National Treasury Regulations is essential.
- Ability to maintain sound interpersonal relations and to work in a methodical manner is essential.
- Project management training/courses and comprehensive experience in formal project management implementation methodologies will be an added advantage.
- Excellent business management skills; planning, organizing, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills; report writing skills; people management skills.
- Excellent computer literacy and experience in the application of software tools including MS Word, MS Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Internet, and Outlook will be advantageous.
- The possession of a valid driver’s license with at least one year of practical driving experience and a willingness to travel is essential.
