SANBI offers a basic annual salary of R397 116.00 plus 37% in lieu of benefits.

SANBI is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly-motivated, dedicated, professional and responsible individual to provide administrative, logistical, financial, and professional services, including project and event-related services, to the office of the Chief Financial Officer.

This position requires a degree in Office Management, Public Administration or equivalent qualification at NQF 7. Postgraduate qualification or equivalent qualification at NQF 8 will be an added advantage. This position also requires 4 years of work experience in the relevant field.

Key Competencies

  • Extensive experience in managing the office of the senior executive.
  • Understanding of the Public Finance Management Act requirements and National Treasury Regulations.
  • Ability to maintain sound interpersonal relations and to work in a methodical manner.
  • Project management training/courses and comprehensive experience in formal project management implementation methodologies (added advantage).
  • Excellent business management skills, planning, organising, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills; report writing skills; people management skills.
  • Excellent computer literacy and experience with software tools: MS Word, MS Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Internet, Outlook.
  • Valid driver’s licence with at least one year of practical driving experience and willingness to travel.

Key Performance Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage financial, budget, procurement, and compliance-related matters to support the Office of the Chief Financial Officer and Director SCM and Asset Management.
  • Coordinate office-related projects and programs for the Office of the Chief Financial Officer.
  • Provide logistical support and secretarial services to the Office of the Chief Financial Officer.
