Job summary

Pick n Pay in Sea Point seeks an energetic cashier to balance takings, complete settlement sheets, and reconcile taking sheets. You will ensure accurate cash handling and adhere to float/cash office procedures while providing friendly service during retail hours.

Required: Grade 12 (advantageous), at least 2 years cashier experience, numeracy and strong communication skills, and proficiency in MS Office. Willingness to work retail hours is essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare takings for collection.
• Physical banking of cheques and cash.
• Order change for next day's trading.
• Takings figures communicated to support office.
• Communicate discrepancies to management.
• Adhere to all float/cash office policies and procedures.
