Our Client a well established Engineering Firm in Roodepoort, Johannesburg West Rand is seeking the services of an Occupational Health and Safety Agent (Pr.CHSA)

The objective is to appoint a professional registered SACPCMP Health and Safety Agent (CHSA) with a minimum of 7 - 8 years construction health and safety experience to act as the Employers Representative and ensure compliance with OH&S regulations for our clients organisation and on project level. The Construction Health and Safety Agent should have in-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations at all levels and be able to develop, organize, implement, and oversee the health and safety requirements of a construction project from start to finish. Additionally, a Construction Health and Safety Agent should be able to mentor, train, and guide Construction Health and Safety Managers and Officers.

Closing date: 12 August 2024

The Occupational Health and Safety Agent should have the following qualifications:

  • National Diploma in Safety Management
  • B-Tech in Safety Management
  • MSc in Construction Health and Safety Management

Or alternatively a combination of the following qualifications:

  • National Diploma (Building, CM, QS, Arch, Civil, Electrical, Mech) + Programmes in Construction Health and Safety
  • BSc / B-Tech (Building, CM, QS, Arch, Civil, Electrical, Mech) + Programmes in Construction Health and Safety
  • Honours (Building, CM, QS, Arch, Civil, Electrical, Mech) + Programmes in Construction Health and Safety
  • MSc (Building, CM, QS, Arch, Civil, Electrical, Mech) + Programmes in Construction Health and Safety
