Responsibilities
  • Maintain 'Country OCC tariffs' within relevant templates and system
  • Support execution of OFR and commercial strategy in local OCC
  • Drive competitive and strategic pricing solutions – execute pricing campaigns (e.g. seasonal offers, trade lane market and special offers)
  • Search for best pricing solutions to maximize profitability of OFR
  • Provide pricing for new business growth on country level (including standard factor‑based pricing methodology); support and follow up on priced opportunities
  • Provide correct and timely feedback to GBT bids; answer GBT and region‑to‑region queries
  • Set up and maintain Tier 4 approach to local BC Sales – provide quick and aggressive responses to level 1 and 2 opportunities
  • Set up tariffs to answer level 3 and 4 opportunities
  • Monitor objectives in terms of profitability maximization and volume growth (e.g. on ITM lanes)
  • Escalate need for decision making on risk taking through higher hierarchy levels
  • Adhere to and comply with rules and principles
  • Interact with customers on estimate submissions
  • Increase win opportunities through accurate completion of ocean freight estimates
  • Provide ocean freight estimates to existing customers within SLA turnaround times
  • Maintain proactive communication/relationship with colleagues and managers
  • Maintain and keep estimate register up to date
  • Maintain and keep rates updated in QuoteShop database
  • Provide weekly feedback on QuoteShop activity and monthly activity and success rates
