A leading hospitality establishment in Cape Town is seeking a Night Front Office Ambassador to oversee the complete guest journey, from check-in to check-out. The ideal candidate will have a Matric Certificate, a hospitality-related qualification, and at least 2 years' experience in a similar role. As our Front Office Ambassador, you will oversee the entire guest journey from arrival at the front entrance through check‑in and room assignment, assisting guests during their stay, preparing guest accounts, handling payments, and assisting guests on departure, bidding them farewell.
You will attend to face‑to‑face guest queries, take reservations, and answer phones. Part of your role will be maintaining records and creating and keeping a filing system, as it serves as the central point for information and assistance for guests. You will assist guests with check‑out and accept final payment for their room accounts, ensuring they have had a pleasant stay.
You have a Matric Certificate with a preferably Hospitality‑related Tertiary Qualification and 2 years' experience as a Front Office Receptionist/Ambassador in a 4* establishment at minimum. Your ability to work various shifts and across multiple functions will see you far in this role. Computer literacy in MS Office, Opera / Protel is essential.
With a neat appearance and excellent front office operation skills, you possess extensive product knowledge of our hotel and the city. You are required to have outstanding communication skills, a high level of accuracy, be devoted to quality, be able to perform under pressure, be client‑focused, and have social skills and integrity, which will set you apart from the rest.
