Job summary

Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a detail-oriented Night Auditor for a luxury wine estate in Franschhoek. This fixed-term contract role requires independent work and overseeing overnight operations. Salary ranges from R12,000 to R15,000 per month with a live-out arrangement.

Ideal candidates will have prior night audit or front office experience in upscale properties, strong numerical and financial awareness, excellent English, and solid IT proficiency in hotel management systems.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Night Auditor or in a similar front office role within a luxury hotel or estate.
• Strong understanding of front office procedures and night audit processes.
• Excellent computer literacy and experience with hotel management systems.
• Solid numerical skills with strong financial awareness.
• Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Conducting the full night audit process in line with company standards.
• Reconciling daily revenue and preparing financial reports.
• Ensuring all guest accounts are accurate and up to date.
• Managing late check-ins and early departures.
• Assisting with guest queries and requests during night shift.
• Handling switchboard and reservations enquiries where required.
• Ensuring the safety and security of guests and the property overnight.
• Preparing reports for senior management and the finance department.
