Job summary

Netcare Ferncrest Hospital is seeking an Enrolled Nurse to provide direct and/or indirect nursing care in the NNICU under supervision. The role demands professional conduct, accurate documentation, and a commitment to high-quality patient care.

You will work within established nursing protocols, support infection prevention practices, and contribute to ward quality initiatives while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in a high-demand clinical area.

Qualifications

• Registration with the South African Nursing Council as an Enrolled Nurse or equivalent NQF 3 qualification.
• Compliance with the SANC code for an Enrolled Nurse and all applicable health care legislation.
• Experience in nursing would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and/or indirect nursing care under supervision of the Registered Nurse.
• Contribute to holistic patient care and meet needs.
• Maintain documentation timeously and accurately.
• Assist with stock management and equipment care.
• Attend handover and communicate effectively with patients and relatives.
