Job Description

Reporting to the New Vehicles Sales Manager, this position will be suited to a person who has exposure selling vehicles and the ability to provide excellent customer service.

  • Understanding of the compliance governing the retail industry would be an advantage.
  • Experience in cold calling to develop a client base
  • Knowledge of dealership policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of competitive motor industry
  • Drive specific strategies to retain and grow existing customer base.
  • Manage customer expectations to ensure effective delivery of service
  • Marketing and promotions
  • Achieve monthly sales Targets by prospecting and converting new business opportunities
  • Conduct professional vehicle demonstration and test drives tailored to customer operational needs
  • Handle objection, close deals and exceed dealership expectations

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Identify potential customers and generate leads through various channels such as cold calling, networking and attending events
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers to understand their needs and preferences
  • Advise customers on vehicle features, specifications, and pricing
  • Coordinate with the finance department to assist customers with financing options
  • Follow up with customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business
  • Attend sales meetings and training sessions to stay up to date on product knowledge and sales technique
  • Keep accurate records of sales activity, customer interactions, and follow -ups

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Valid Driver’s License

  • A minimum of Grade 12
