Job Description

Reporting to the New Vehicles Sales Manager, this position will be suited to a person who has exposure selling vehicles and the ability to provide excellent customer service.

Understanding of the compliance governing the retail industry would be an advantage.

Experience in cold calling to develop a client base

Knowledge of dealership policies and procedures

Knowledge of competitive motor industry

Drive specific strategies to retain and grow existing customer base.

Manage customer expectations to ensure effective delivery of service

Marketing and promotions

Achieve monthly sales Targets by prospecting and converting new business opportunities

Conduct professional vehicle demonstration and test drives tailored to customer operational needs

Handle objection, close deals and exceed dealership expectations

Team player

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Identify potential customers and generate leads through various channels such as cold calling, networking and attending events

Build and maintain relationships with customers to understand their needs and preferences

Advise customers on vehicle features, specifications, and pricing

Coordinate with the finance department to assist customers with financing options

Follow up with customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business

Attend sales meetings and training sessions to stay up to date on product knowledge and sales technique

Keep accurate records of sales activity, customer interactions, and follow -ups

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS :

Valid Driver's License

Clear Criminal Record

A minimum of Grade 12

Must have excellent verbal communication skills

Customer and team orientation

Motor industry experience is essential

Computer literacy is essential

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

3 years sales executive experience

Proven track record of meeting regular monthly targets on budget
