New Vehicle Sales Manager - East Rand - Gauteng

Duties & Responsibilities

A well‑established automotive dealership, based in the East Rand, Gauteng is seeking a New Vehicle Sales Manager to join their sales department.

This position is regarded as a key management role and will be suited to an experienced manager who has the ability to attract clients, provide excellent customer service, motivate staff, control costs, and maintain high levels of sales on an ongoing basis.

  • Monitoring and reporting on individual and team sales performance.
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction targets are being exceeded.
  • Taking a hands‑on approach in supporting vehicle sales executives to meet their targets.
  • Carrying out market and competitor analyses, setting target parameters (e.g. for pricing), and ensuring these are implemented.
  • Engaging in active marketing and stock management.
  • Identifying training and development needs and opportunities for staff.
  • Working closely with the vehicle sales team to ensure the dealership meets its new vehicle sales target.
Requirements & Skills needed
  • Must have at least three years' experience in the role with a proven track record within a franchised business.
  • Grade 12 qualification essential.
  • Valid Drivers' License essential.
  • Specific brand experience; a diploma in Business or Marketing Management will be advantageous.
  • Strong asset and stock control skills.
  • Must have contactable references.
