Job description

We are looking for a highly skilled Network Engineer - Huawei Specialist to join an enterprise environment supporting modern, multi-site campus network infrastructure in East London, Eastern Cape.

Contract: 3-Year Fixed-Term Contract. Engagement: Dedicated Full-Time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain Huawei enterprise network infrastructure across multiple campus locations.
• Support Huawei iMaster NCE-Campus (V300R022) and iMaster NCE-CampusInsight (V100R022).
• Configure, optimise and maintain Huawei AirEngine WLAN infrastructure.
• Work with AirEngine 9700-M1 and AC6508 wireless controllers.
• Support AirEngine Indoor/Outdoor Wi-Fi 7 Access Points.
• Administer Huawei CloudEngine S-Series switches, including S5731S and S6730H platforms.
• Support 10Gb single-mode and multimode optical transceivers and campus interconnects.
• Perform network troubleshooting, hardware replacements, firmware upgrades and configuration backups.
• Conduct root-cause analysis and ensure maximum network availability with minimal downtime.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Valid Huawei HCIP Datacom or HCIE certification.
• Hands-on Huawei enterprise networking experience.
• Experience with Huawei CloudEngine switches.
• Experience with Huawei AirEngine WLAN/Wi-Fi infrastructure.
• Experience with Huawei iMaster NCE-Campus and/or CampusInsight.
• Strong network troubleshooting and fault-resolution experience.
• Must be based in East London or willing to relocate.
