Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking a .Net Application Developer to design, write and maintain C# code for client projects in South Africa. You will work in a project team, provide technical support, and participate in meetings with management and stakeholders.

The role emphasizes delivering quality software, adhering to sprint plans, and continuously improving production systems. Strong knowledge of C#, SQL and object-oriented design is required, with experience in MSMQ/WCF and modern .NET

Qualifications

• 5 years experience in C# and SQL
• Experience with MSMQ and WCF
• Experience with LINQ and Entity Framework
• Experience with unit testing frameworks
• Experience with mocking and mapping frameworks and Jasmine
• Experience with Castle Windsor, StructureMap and Spring.Net
• Knowledge of object-oriented software development principles

Responsibilities

• Design, write and maintain C# code for projects and client needs

About the job .Net Application Developer

Job purpose:

To design, write and maintain C# code for future and ongoing projects on behalf of the client. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency by optimizing business performance through technology application.

Requirements:

• Consultation on projects and quick wins
• High-Level Design and Detailed Design
• Development
• Code Quality reviews
• Quality Assurance support and reviews
• Working in a project team alongside other developers.
• Providing technical support to stakeholders in the organization
• Participating in project meetings with management and other team members
• Feedback on progress to Scrum Master/project manager
• Timesheet capture
• Self-management of capacity and deliverables in alignment with Sprint planning / chosen methodology
• Continuously monitor the production environment and enhance/streamline where appropriate.
