About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering the Grade 8–9 Natural Sciences curriculum, fostering curiosity and critical thinking, and preparing learners for academic success.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Teach Natural Sciences to Grades 8–9 learners in accordance with the CAPS (or IEB) curriculum
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and learning materials
• Prepare and assess formal and informal assessments, including tests and projects
• Monitor learner progress and provide academic support where needed
• Maintain a disciplined and inclusive classroom environment
• Participate in school functions, meetings, and professional development activities
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure curriculum alignment and academic excellence

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education (B.Ed) or relevant degree with PGCE
