Job description

To lead and manage transport operations across all regions within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and profitability. The role is responsible for translating the transport strategy into effective operational execution, maintaining high service standards, and optimizing financial and operational performance across the network.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day transport operations across multiple regions to ensure consistent service delivery and operational excellence.
• Implement tactical transport plans aligned with organizational objectives and strategic direction set by the Head of Transport.
• Ensure compliance with all corporate governance, safety, and regulatory standards to minimize operational and financial risk.
• Analyze and interpret operational and financial data to identify performance gaps, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
• Manage budgets, control costs, and drive profitability through efficient resource allocation and asset utilization.
• Develop and implement workforce and capacity plans to meet operational requirements across regions.
• Lead, mentor, and develop regional operations teams to build capability, accountability, and performance excellence.
• Foster a results-driven and safety-focused culture aligned with company values and operational goals.
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and clients to ensure service excellence and customer satisfaction.
• Lead initiatives focused on continuous improvement, cost efficiency, and sustainable growth of transport operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (minimum) or Honors Degree (preferred) in Transport, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration (NQF Level 8).

Experience & Competencies

• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in transport operations, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role overseeing multi-regional or national operations.
• Proven ability to manage large-scale transport operations, including fleet, manpower, and financial performance.
• Strong financial management skills with demonstrated experience in budgeting, forecasting, and P&L oversight.
• In-depth understanding of logistics planning, route optimization, and operational cost control.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment while ensuring compliance and efficiency.
