Overview

National HR & IR Manager

Location: Head Office

Key Responsibilities
  • Overall management of HR and Talent functions, including recruitment, learning & development, compensation & benefits, employee and industrial relations, and payroll.
  • Develop and oversee robust recruitment processes, reviewing job descriptions, managing advertising, candidate selection, and onboarding documentation.
  • Implement HR and talent strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Advise and coach management on leadership, performance, change, and transformation.
  • Handle HR policy, discipline, grievances, contracts, training, performance appraisals, and succession planning.
  • Prepare and deliver HR reports to executives; provide insights on HR initiatives.
  • Manage compliance with HR legislation and update policies as required.
  • Oversee employee engagement initiatives, surveys, and recognition programmes.
  • Conduct remuneration reviews, manage disciplinary actions, retrenchments, and legal matters.
  • Maintain systems for learning, development, and employee performance.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources (Labour Law qualification essential)
  • Minimum 10 years' HR management experience
  • Extensive knowledge of labour legislation and payroll systems (VIP Premier)
  • Code 8 Driver’s License
  • Strong decision-making, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Computer literate, meticulous, deadline-driven, and proactive
