Job summary

RMB - Rand Merchant Bank in Johannesburg is seeking a Murex Specialist to manage the full lifecycle of trades from pricing to settlement and to assess impact on Market Risk, Finance, Credit Risk and Collateral. The role involves continuous development of the Murex Platform to meet evolving business requirements and to support various banking and treasury units.

You will configure/develop solutions in Murex, work with traders and stakeholders, and drive testing, training and incident resolution

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or related discipline is required.
• ACI Dealing Certificate advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Analyse existing processes and facilitate improvements with stakeholders.
• Gather and document requirements from traders and stakeholders.
• Conduct impact analysis and propose solutions.
• Coordinate and participate in testing to ensure solutions meet requirements.
• Configure/develop solutions in the Murex Platform to meet business needs.
• Contribute to Risk, PnL and Pricing queries and related workflows.
