A leading engineering firm in South Africa is seeking a Multidisciplinary Project Manager to oversee complex infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for project delivery, client engagement, and team support. Applicants should have a B.Eng/B.Sc Eng/B.Tech in Civil Engineering or Project Management and significant experience in managing multi-disciplinary projects. Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills are essential for this role.
A multidisciplinary project manager leads and coordinates infrastructure projects that involve multiple engineering disciplines, including civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical components. They ensure that design and technical requirements are fully integrated, and they engage with clients to align project goals, budgets, and timelines with expectations. The ideal candidate is a civil engineer with proven experience managing multi‑disciplinary infrastructure projects, capable of overseeing diverse teams and ensuring successful project delivery from design through to completion. ROLE PURPOSE: The Multi‑Disciplinary Project Manager will report to the Senior Project Manager, and will be responsible for the successful planning, execution, and delivery of medium to large‑scale infrastructure projects. The role requires strong leadership across engineering disciplines, effective client and stakeholder engagement, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
58 years post‑graduate experience in civil engineering design and / or project management, preferably in multi‑disciplinary infrastructure projects.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies, engineering design, and construction processes.
Willing to be based in Cape Town.
