Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking an Intermediate MS Dynamics 365 Finance & Business Central Functional Consultant to manage the full lifecycle from planning to deployment and support. The role emphasizes testing, security configuration, and post-go-live assistance across a global enterprise.

The candidate will perform BAU support, develop UAT and RSAT tests in Azure DevOps, and ensure smooth performance testing and security compliance within D365 environments.

Qualifications

  • Certification in MS D365 F&O/BC is required.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • 5 years of experience in financial analysis, management accounting, or business finance in a large, international company; background in forecasting is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years in finance/business-related roles.
  • Certifications: Dynamics 365 BC Functional Consultant Associate; MB-300 Core Finance and Operations.

Responsibilities

  • Ongoing D365 BAU access requests and incidents fulfillment and management.
  • Provide 2nd and 3rd line BAU support.
  • Manage security permissions in D365 F&O and apply recording guides.
  • Prepare UAT scripts using task recorder and save RSAT tests in Azure DevOps.
  • Perform functional, integration, regression and performance testing.
  • Create test plans and detailed test cases in Azure DevOps.
  • Provide D365 security consultation and role-based access support.
  • Provide post-go-live support for GA deployments.

Key purpose:

As a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Business Central Functional Consultant, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of an enterprise system. You will be involved in everything from planning to deployment to maintenance and support. You'll perform functional testing using various tools such as Visual Studio Test Manager or Azure DevOps Pipelines before running performance tests on your production environment, looking at how it performs under load and measuring its scalability capabilities.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Ongoing D365 BAU Access Requests and Incidents fulfillment and management
  • Provide 2nd line and 3rd line BAU support
  • Resolve system security of user permissions in D365 F&O using recording guide and apply
  • Prepare UAT scripts for testing the configured scenarios using task recorder and save of RSAT testing in Azure DevOps
  • Performing functional, integration, regression and performance testing
  • Creating test plans and detailed test cases using AzureDevops
  • Provide MS D365 Security consultation and development of security role(s) support required
  • Provide Post Go-Live Support for GA deployment

Qualifications and experience:

  • MS D365 Financial and Business Central Functional Consultant certification required
  • A strong understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365
  • Five years of experience in financial analysis, management accounting, and/or business finance in a large corporation with an international presence; strong background in financial planning and forecasting a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of finance and/or business related experience.
