Santam Motor Claims support is seeking an energetic, passionate individual to fill the position of Training Consultant based in Hill On Empire.
WHAT WILL YOU DO The purpose of this role is to coordinate and conduct product, system, process, soft skills, and related training sessions to enhance staff knowledge and skills, improving their current job activities.
This includes coordinating and conducting assessments to improve worker and workplace performance.
WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE
Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for new hires and existing employees in the claims department.
Lead engaging training sessions, both in groups and one-on-one.
Assess training effectiveness and adjust programs to improve outcomes.
Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and techniques, incorporating them into training.
Provide feedback to enhance staff performance and professional growth.
Ensure all training activities comply with legal and company policies.
Maintain records of training and employee progress.
Collaborate with management to identify training needs based on projected processes and changes.
Matric
Industry-specific qualification or accreditation (e.g., IISA qualification)
ETDP Qualification or equivalent (Train the Trainer, Assessor, Moderator, Evaluator) OR BEd
2-4 years claims experience
1-2 years in Learning and Development (planning, facilitation, evaluation)
Understanding of Santam systems, including Mainframe systems
Understanding of the Training Value Chain Cycle
Organizational and facilitation skills
Client engagement skills
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Advanced proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Fluent in English and Afrikaans
Effective communication and presentation skills
Interpersonal and motivational skills
Goal-oriented and organized
Networking and relationship-building abilities
Technical proficiency with claims processing systems
Adaptability and problem-solving capabilities
