We're looking for a talentedMotion Designerto join our remote Cape Town team. If crafting engaging motion graphics, title sequences and seamless video edits is your daily bread, then this role is for youWe need someone who is confident in all aspects of motion design - editing, title design, animation and compositing.

You should have a strong understanding of visual storytelling, pacing and typography to create impactful motion content. If you thrive in a dynamic environment where experimentation and innovation are encouraged, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Design and animate motion graphics for a range of projects, including title sequences and promotional content
• Edit and refine video content with a strong sense of pacing and storytelling
• Work with typography and layout to create compelling title designs
• Collaborate closely with creative teams to develop visual styles and concepts
• Ensure all motion content aligns with brand and project guidelines
• Stay up to date with industry trends and new techniques in motion design
• Adapt and problem-solve in a fast-paced, evolving creative environment

Requirements

• Proficient in industry-standard software such as Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro and Photoshop
• Strong understanding of animation principles, composition and typography with a portfolio or showreel to share
• Experience in video editing and storytelling
• Ability to work with keyframes, expressions and compositing techniques
• Ability to take feedback and iterate quickly
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with different disciplines

Nice to have

• Knowledge of 3D software such as Blender and 3D workflows
• Knowledge of staging in environments such as Unreal Engine and Unity
• Understanding of generative AI tools and techniques
