Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a proactive Warehouse Operations Coordinator for our Mossel Bay facility in the Western Cape. You will coordinate daily warehouse activities and work with the Warehouse Manager to implement efficient operations across receiving, put-away, picking, packing and dispatch.

This hands-on role requires 2–4 years in warehouse or logistics coordination, strong organizational and communication skills, and a working knowledge of WMS and MS Office.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in warehouse or logistics coordination.
• Solid understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control and order fulfillment.
• Experience supervising or coordinating warehouse staff.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily warehouse activities to ensure efficiency and accuracy in Mossel Bay.
• Assist in managing inventory levels, stock counts, and stock rotation.
• Oversee receiving, put-away, picking, packing and dispatch processes.
• Supervise and guide warehouse staff, ensuring tasks are completed on time.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment, enforcing health and safety regulations.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs for all warehouse functions.
• Communicate effectively with team members, management, and external partners.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues as they arise.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency.
• Generate operational reports as required by management.
