Monocle is looking for an experienced professional to join our team as a consultant. Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:
  • Solving complex industry specific problems.
  • Conducting detailed business analysis and process analysis for insurance businesses as relates to their daily operational needs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document requirements for claims management, premium collections, premium allocations, revisions, underwriting, and new business implementations.
  • Developing and maintain business process models and workflows.
  • Assisting in the implementation of Policy Administration Systems, ensuring alignment with business needs.
  • Facilitating workshops and meetings to elicit requirements and validate solutions.
  • Providing support during testing phases, including creating test cases and conducting user acceptance testing.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
The successful candidate must:
  • Hold a degree, with strong preference for a post graduate qualification.
  • Have 5 years or more relevant experience in the Insurance industry.
Qualification Requirements:
  • Hold a degree, with preference for a post graduate qualification.
Experience Requirements:
  • Have 5 years or more relevant experience as a Business Analyst or other professional in the insurance industry.
  • Proven understanding in claims management, premium collections, premium allocations, revisions, underwriting, and new business implementations.
  • Strong understanding of insurance operations and processes.
  • Experience in working with Policy Administration Systems.
  • Have demonstrable experience in successful project delivery or completing tasks.
  • Have a proven track record in leading teams.
Technical Requirements:
  • Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies.
  • Experience with process modeling tools such as BPMN or UML.
  • Familiarity with Policy Administration Systems and their implementation.
  • Strong data analysis skills and experience with data visualisation tools.
Additionally, the following would be advantageous:
  • Certification in Business Analysis.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards in the insurance sector.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
